In fact, the library contains approximately 850,000 books in varying subjects and disciplines. Recently Mumbai University has started some new self-supporting courses. At present, the university has various departments of studies, such as Faculty of Science, Faculty of Arts: Library Science, Language, Linguistics and Literature Departments, Social Science Departments, Faculty of Commerce, Faculty of Fine Arts and Other Academic Departments / Institutes. The Kalina Campus has an area of 230 acres while the Fort Campus covers an area of 13 acres. In total, there is nearly 1.25 million square feet of built-up area, 22 thousand sq. feet of class-room area and 84 thousand sq feet of laboratory space. There are many organizations affiliated to Mumbai University. Some of these include the names of Alkesh Dinesh Modi Institute of Investment Studies, Council of Social Science Research, Academy for Administrative Services, Garware Institute of Career Education And Development and Academic Staff College and J.J.College of Architecture and so on. Mumbai University Courses
Mumbai University offers a large number of courses for students of varying backgrounds. You can choose any course according to your subjects. If you are an undergraduate learner then university offers B.Com courses for the commerce students. If students come from the Humanities discipline then it has to offer BA (Bachelor of Arts), and law courses.
