Delhi University Admission Form

Admission Form is the one of the important parts of taking admission in DU or other top colleges owned by the university. Those students who are applying for Delhi University colleges are offered with two options to make their application. Students can fill up the centralized pre-admission forms which are available at 16 designated centers that are listed below:

The sale of pre-admission form is starting from 28th May till 11th June. St. Stephens College and Jesus & Mary College will not accept the common pre-admission form. From this pre-admission form students can apply for any number of courses made available under the University. From this one form students can get the benefits of saving some money by not spending on all the forms of several colleges. DU provides Special faculty of Law for the students. Admission process for under graduate academic session 2010-11 in Delhi University is most likely to start from 21st July. This year dean students' welfare (DSW) has generated over 2,000 question and answers, which would be offered online. Students can also get online application forms for a number of courses such as BBA, B.com, BBE, MBA, MA, B.Ed, MCA and many others.

Students can get common pre-admission form at of cost of Rs.50 only. This year Delhi University has increased the seats up to 5,000 thereby making the total available seats to about 54,000.

DU has reserved seats for OBC (14,500), for SC/ST (12,150), 27000 for general and many more. The students who are thinking to get hostel facilities should first talk directly to the college/department. Getting admission in college does not ensures that student will get hostel facilities as the allocation of rooms will be based on merit and is allowed only for the outstation students.
