CAT Admission Test

CAT Admission Test is an entrance exam conducted on behalf of business schools to test the aptitude of students before admission to management programs. The CAT viz. is the Common Admission Test conducted nation wide by the IIMs viz. Indian Institutes of Management. The tests are conducted in three sections of two and half hour durations. CAT Admission Tests are the first round in the admission procedure of management students. The CAT score makes the candidates eligible for the next round of group discussion along with an interview.

CAT Exam Application Form

The application form along with the bulletin for the Common Admission Test (CAT) admission procedure is available at Axis Banks's selected branches. The fee charged is Rs. 1,300/- for the general category and in the case of SC/ST it is Rs. 650/- Only in exceptional cases the respective branch can issue an application form and bulletin. In this case the payment of fees will be accepted by demand draft that is crossed, in favour of the IIM branch concerned.

The CAT results of the CAT exam are scheduled from January 2010. www.catiim.in is the website on which the CAT results are displayed. You could also find out through mail. In case you wish to use the SMS then you could send an sms to 57333, andsimply insert "CAT test registration number application number or CAT test registration number date of birth (dd mm yy)"
