Bangalore Medical College is situated on Shri Krishnarajendra road which is run by the Karnataka Government. It is the only one government college that offers medical courses. This college has gained consistently the ranking among the top 10 colleges. The founders of the college are Dr. Shivram and Dr. Mekhri in 1995 which is popularly known as BMC. Bangalore Medical College Admission
In order to apply for the M.B.B.S. course admission you are required to appear in a common entrance exam. The seats are allotted on the basis of Karnataka CET at the State level or All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) at the national level. The admission for the post graduate courses depends on the RGUHS PGCET at State level and half of the seats are allotted on the basis of All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination at the national level. The list of the selected students is announced on the website or published in the national dailies. BMC provides the admission for NRI Students, they are just required to fulfill the criteria of appearing in an entrance test exam. For taking admission in the medical college, Karanataka government conducts common entrance test for admission in the first year courses like M.B.B.S., B.D.S., B. Tech and B. Arch.
