EAMCET-2010 is the Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test held in Andhra Pradesh, on behalf of APSCHE. This Entrance Examination is conducted by JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad). It is an entry point to admission in the colleges conducting professional courses. EAMCET-2010 Notification

EAMCET-2010 Notification by (JNTU) Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad provides information on the Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test in Andhra Pradesh for the following courses.

2. B.E/B.Tech courses
3. B.V.Sc and AH/B.Sc (Ag)/B.Sc (Hort)/B.F.Sc/B.Tech (FS & T)/B.Sc (CA & BM) courses
4. B.Pharm/B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) and Pharm-D (Doctor of Pharmacy) courses.

EAMCET-2010 Eligibility

EAMCET-2010 eligibility information is provided in the Notification for EAMCET 2010 by JNTU, Hyderabad as under: The students should be residents of the state of Andhra Pradesh of Indian nationality. Entry to the examination of those students whose results are pending will be subject to their pass result in the qualifying examination. The minimum qualification required for appearing in the EAMCET-2010 is as under: (a) Intermediate Examination Pass result or admission at 2nd year Intermediate Exam (10+2) of A.P. Board of Intermediate Education (BIE), with optional subjects that are appropriate and recognized by A.P. BIE is necessary. (OR b.) A Pass result from the Diploma examination or if in final year, appearing for Diploma in Engg.(BTE) Exam, A.P. Diplomas students can be eligible if applying for B.Tech/B.E./B.Pharm courses only. So also Pharmacy Diploma students need apply only for the Course in Pharm-D.

EAMCET-2010 Syllabus

The EAMCET 2010 syllabus is designed to indicate the scope of subjects included for EAMCET. Questions may be asked in EAMCET-2009 to test the student's subject knowledge and comprehension ability. The Intermediate Course syllabus of the 1st and 2nd year's that is revised from up to 2009 is currently applicable. It has been prepared with a view to outline the subjects within the EAMCET scope. Each subject has been dealt with and titles of topics have been marked in the syllabus. The syllabus is to be considered as open ended and not exhaustive.

EAMCET-2010 Application Form

1. E Category Application for students pursuing courses like Engineering B.E./B.Tech. (Ag.Engg)/B.Tech. (Dairy Technology)/B.Tech.(FST) / Pharm-D / B.Sc (Hort.) / BDS / BAMS / B PHARM-D/ BHMS / BNYS or B. Tech.

2. AM Category application forms should be sent by student of special subjects with Bio/Physics/Chemistry in the intermediated or its equivalent. E and AM category applications are to be sent by students desiring to do both 1. and 2. of the above courses.

At the cost of Rs. 25-/- the application forms can be obtained at the State Bank of Andhra Pradesh's or can be downloaded at the e-seva centers of Andhra Pradesh. . Usually the forms should be submitted by Mid April, each year.

The last date for submitting application forms is 10.5.2010; with late fees is Rs. 5,000/- and Rs. 10,000/- if submitted by 27.05.2010.For 2011 next year the dates will be mentioned later. Usually the forms are issued upto Mid April, each year. No online submissions are accepted. The application forms are to be submitted personally at the Convenor's Office, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

EAMCET 2010 Examination Date

The examination date for the EAMCET 2010 is as given below:

30 May 2010 EAMCET 2010 examinations will be held for the engineering and medical field at the timings mentioned as under:

EAMCET 2010 Question Paper

EAMCET 2010 brings the recent decision by the HES (Higher Educational Society) with a new option to students who can take home the EAMCET 2010 Question Paper. The rules for this exam will be applicable from 2010 onwards. This new policy is the result of feedback received from past students regarding the question paper of EAMCET 2010.

EAMCET 2010 Weightage

The EAMCET 2010 weightage policy as laid down by the Higher Educational Society sees no changes. Hence it is the same as the previous year. In the past year the weightage remained at 25 in the case of applying for EAMCET 2009. While in this year the weightage remains the same, the case may not be so in the coming years. However in the near future, the government is planning to revise the weightage application for admission to EAMCET. Hence for the next year the government proposes to apply 50 percent weightage for EAMCET 2011.


EAMCET-2009 Ranks have been put up in the EAMCET 2009 RESULTS List.The EAMCET-2009 toppers enginneering results have been released and are available on the website. The highest marks obtained are 153. The top ranks for engineering have been shared by G.G.Krishna, Shiv Kumar and Shaik Allauddin. In the medical stream EAMCET 2010 results have been published. The medical EAMCET 2009 toppers ARE Keerthana 149 marks, Santosh Swaminathan 149 marks and Nalla Raveena too gets 149 marks.
